Sharon and her friends founded the nonprofit Project Elev8 in order to help renovate a school, as well as raise money for students’ academic scholarships in Haiti. Below are pictures of their trip, including progress pictures made with the $30,000 they were able to raise in eight months. Service there continues as three out of all eight friends are Haitian — therefore this project is especially close to home and the heart.
